MISSION
The mission of this project is to provide to a diverse group of DFW-based adult women artists a place to exhibit their artwork. It will give them the opportunity to have a visual voice, which they may not have had before. This will be accomplished in an art exhibition where they can display their work in a professional gallery setting.

As part of this mission, Baronet and Art on Main owner, Andrea Lamarsaude will conduct an Artist Mentorship Workshop as to what is involved in preparing for an art show. This includes the following components: artwork wired and framed, installation of the work, prepping walls, labeling/pricing artwork, how to handle sales, marketing tools (web, social media, email, and print, etc.) and how to invite people/public and their families and friends to an Artist Reception (Opening and Closing) of their work.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
The theme of the exhibition is, Women in Art - Letting in the Light.

Artists are invited to create works of art that represent the show title.

Katherine Baronet will act as curator for the exhibition and will use the following criteria to select the work submitted by the artists.

I want the artists to reflect on stories; life journeys, or experiences in their lives of self-nurturing, illumination, radiance or inner light, and it could be imaginative or dreamlike. Something that evokes brilliant light, powerful healing energy and/or radiance or inner light memories or stories.
