Connector of art souls

There are many things I want to explore. I am forever changing, forever evolving.
- Fiera Michele

Fiera Michele is a multi-disciplinary artist with a love of all things creative. Her work explores the mind-body connection, nonlinear time, and disrupting collective illusions. She believes that our bodies are vessels for the spirit, that we can always evolve, and that we can use art and culture to challenge and adapt. Believing that the body falls away, the spirit is an unbroken traveler bending time to see themselves as victors now and in alternate worlds.

In 2016, she exhibited “The Pariah Escapes the Caste” at Grand Hall in Dallas, Texas. She was one of 20 BIPOC artists selected by curator Jennifer Cowley for her “Me Too” exhibition at the African American Museum of Dallas. She also has artwork appearing or forthcoming in the Art On Main Gallery, a Sci-fi book of poetry, and other micro-projects in store this year.

When not in her art studio, Fiera networks with fellow creatives and facilitates mental health and wellness support groups. She enjoys jazz music and is learning to play the bass guitar! You can visit her work at www.ofchoiceandbones.com.
