Join us for a hands-on, heart-centered workshop inspired by the tradition of Guatemalan worry dolls.
In Guatemala, children create tiny dolls from simple scrap materials and share their worries with them before bedtime—one by one. It is believed the dolls hold those worries through the night, bringing comfort and peaceful sleep.
In this interactive workshop, participants will:
✨ Learn about the cultural tradition of worry dolls
✨ Reflect on what it means to release a worry
✨ Create 2–3 small worry dolls using bread ties, yarn, and colorful fabric scraps
✨ Practice a simple “tell your worry” ritual to take home
Each doll will be approximately 3–4 inches tall and uniquely yours. No art experience is needed—just a willingness to create and connect.
Come make something meaningful, share a little story, and leave with handmade companions ready to hold your worries.
