Born and raised in small town Kansas, Jacque Forsher earned a BFA from PSU in Pittsburg, Kansas. After moving to Texas, Forsher’s work became greatly inspired by the diverse culture found in the DFW metroplex.
Since participating in multiple Iconography workshops, a fascination with sacred imagery became an influence and is often reflected in Forsher’s artwork—a continual exploration where modern style and contemporary representation find a colorful and interesting harmony that oftentimes includes symbolic reference.
Forsher is currently employed as a Communications Specialist, and has participated as an artist and curator in both local, national, juried and invitational exhibitions, some of which include—
