INSPIRATION
This ceramic ovulation vulva sculpture relates to “Revealing Our Magnificence” by highlighting a moment of peak vitality, creativity, and openness within the body’s natural cycle. Often overlooked or reduced to function, ovulation is reframed here as a powerful expression of aliveness, magnetism, and generative energy.

Through its form and presence, the piece honors this phase as one of expansion and possibility, inviting viewers to recognize the body’s rhythms as sources of beauty and strength. By bringing visibility to this often unseen moment, the work reveals magnificence through embodiment, cycle awareness, and the unapologetic celebration of the female body in its most creative state.

ARTIST STATEMENT
My practice centers on feminine embodiment, cyclical wisdom, and the reclamation of the body through sculptural and symbolic work. Drawing from womb-centered traditions and contemporary feminist discourse, I create objects and forms that honor the feminine as sacred, intuitive, and powerful. My work explores themes of ritual, memory, sensuality, and self-recognition, inviting viewers to reconsider their relationship with the body and its inherent wisdom.

Using a combination of body casting, sculptural techniques, and functional art forms, I transform intimate shapes and symbols into pieces that exist between artifact and altar. These works function as visual affirmations—challenging cultural narratives of shame and silence while offering space for reverence, reflection, and healing.

Through intentional materials and process, I prioritize presence and care, viewing each piece as an act of witnessing. Ultimately, my work seeks to create spaces—both physical and emotional—where femininity is honored, embodied, and made visible without apology.
