INSPIRATION
I am living my golden year. I turned 24 on September 24th of 2025. In this 24th year of life, I am discovering a peace I have never known so deeply. Anywhere I Want explores this peace.
Like lying in the sand, under the warm sun, listening to the ocean waves. Body becomes earth. Like the first glimpses of light my brain registers on a Thursday morning. My bed is surrounded by the large bay window that invites me into the neighborhood below. I don't have to go there yet. I don't have to interact; I just admire from above. Soaking up the gratitude of the life I have created for my 24th year. Stillness, breath, and light charge my body. I am ready to rise.
The magnificence is in the reflection—the quiet moments where I am reminded of how wonderful this 24 is.

My name is Anna Austin. I am a mixed media artist based in Dallas, Texas. I layer acrylic paints, pastels, graphite, inks, papers, and threads to create figures and my favorite treasures from the earth. Through this process, I aim to capture the symbiotic relationship between our bodies and our earth.
