Tony Strickland Solo Exhibition

  • Art on Main 4428 Main Street, Suite 200 Dallas, Texas 75226 United States (map)
I firmly believe there’s an inner artist in every person, but the difference between the professional, and/or lifetime creative professional and the lay person, is the artist’s ability to face their fears and insecurities and pursue the final vision. This is my life’s purpose and journey. The pursuit of creative freedom, spiritual & intellectual growth, and the unexpected results and truths that are discovered as a result of this process.
— Tony Strickland
RSVP for the Closing Reception

Join us at Art on Main for the powerful debut of CAUTION, a daring solo exhibition by Dallas-based artist Tony Strickland—a name you’ll want to remember.

Strickland returns to his iconic 1992 painting Caution with new urgency, pushing boundaries at the collision point of human creativity and artificial intelligence. The result? A raw, layered, and visually explosive series that confronts one of the biggest questions of our time:
As AI accelerates, how do we ensure caution isn’t left behind?

Join us for the Closing Reception, Saturday, July 26 from 2-4pm (Artist talk - 3pm)
Refreshments will be served.

 What to expect:

  • A stunning collection of large- and small-scale mixed media paintings, inspired by AI prompts and brought to life through tar, enamel and talent.

  • A visually rich display where digital origins meet their final analog forms—see how an idea evolves through man and machine.

  • A fearless dialogue on technology, identity, and the moral tension in an AI-powered future.

“This body of work represents the moral quagmire of AI—its power, its peril, and the urgent need for caution as we navigate a world where humans may no longer reign supreme.” —Tony Strickland
