Mexican Folk Art workshop - Tin Work

Artists will explore the vibrant and fascinating folk art of Oaxaca Mexico.

Tin is a common material used in the popular arts of Mexico.

We will be making tin ornaments out of tooling foil to display in windows, Christmas trees, and on the wall. Artist will use tin ornaments from Mexico as patterns. A hammer and nail will be used to punch designs on their ornaments. Each artist will go home with one or two ornaments.
