Spend the day exploring one of Dallas’ most vibrant creative communities during Summer Open Studios at Art on Main.
Meet the artists who create and work in our studios, step inside their creative spaces, and discover original artwork in a wide variety of styles and mediums. This annual event offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with artists, learn about their processes, and experience the energy of a working arts community.
Visitors are invited to explore artist studios throughout the building, browse artwork available for purchase, and enjoy our current gallery exhibition, Kathy Krismer: Solo Exhibition. Through expressive mark making, layered color, and intuitive compositions, Krismer's abstract paintings explore movement, emotion, and connection, offering a compelling look into an artist deeply engaged with her creative process.
Whether you're an avid collector, a fellow creative, or simply looking for an inspiring way to spend a Saturday, Summer Open Studios offers a behind-the-scenes look at the people and ideas that make Art on Main such a special destination for the arts.
Special Exhibition & Reception
Be sure to visit Studio O from 3–5 PM for MODIFIED: An Altered Art Exhibit, presented by the Slant Artist Collective. This thought-provoking exhibition explores transformation, reinvention, and creative experimentation through altered and mixed-media works.
