Hemlata Tahilramani, Duality of Existence Within the Essence of a Woman, acrylic, 20X24in., $1,100
My inspiration for this piece was the sea of emotions a woman goes through.
Artist Statement
This art symbolizes "Duality of Existence within the Essence of a Woman"
This painting reflects the journey of self discovery of a women, the courage to embrace both our brightest moments and our deepest uncertainties. She stands at the intersection of two worlds; one bathed in golden hues of the day and the other steeped in the deep mystery of night. I explored the duality of existence- light and dark, warmth and cold, life and stillness - embodied within the essence of the women.
Holding a lantern, she becomes the bearer of light, a symbol of wisdom, resilience ,and the power of illumination amidst shadows. Her presence is a bridge between contrasts, a reminder that light is not merely an external force, but something we carry within ourselves.
Through this piece, i invite the viewer to reflect on their own inner light - the warmth they share with the world, the hope they nurture in darkness, and the balance they seek in the ever-changing seasons of life.
I am a self taught artist tutored by a practical & emotional experiences.. I have enjoyed looking at art for most of my life and have been inspired and influenced by many sources and the geniuses that work out of places like creative clay.
My work portrays a conversation between myself, the medium I'm working in, and the painting. Most of the times these chats take shape in the form of an art.
