Alicia Chapman, Full Bloom, acrylic on canvas, 36x48in., $1,400
Full Bloom was born from a place of exhaustion—after a whirlwind of moving and the chaos of the holiday season, I felt creatively drained but eager to return to painting. As I worked, I reflected on how nature is a constant reminder of God’s presence, always providing beauty, renewal, and growth. Just like flowers need water to thrive, our souls need spiritual nourishment to truly flourish. This piece became a meditation on restoration—on the balance between blooming and resting, on finding sustenance in faith, and on embracing the seasons of growth with grace.
