Fadekemi (Known as Kemi) is a Nigerian-American self-taught contemporary abstract artist whose work examines the desire to translate emotions using intense colors combined with line structures. Art to her is a necessity as she strongly believes everything we do, say, eat and touch creates art. Her style is quite spontaneous as her abstract paintings and digital designs are based on her feelings.

Born in 1995. Kemi received her Bachelor of Science from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana in 2017 and currently works as a technologist in corporate America while pursuing her second passion as an artist.

She was selected as a recipient of The Other Art Fair Spring 2022 NEW FUTURES award presented by Saatchi Art.

She currently resides in Dallas, Texas.
