I remember seeing a lost picture of my mom carrying me during my naming ceremony in Nigeria. The vivid colors of her native Ankara shone through with the smile lit on her face while looking at me. I wanted to showcase that memory in this artwork. The gold lines depict a polaroid with wonderful vivid colors showcased in it.
